Description:

This repair pack includes one capacitor for Microsoft Xbox Original console to solve time/date saving issues caused by a faulty capacitor on the motherboard.

If your console asks you to re-enter the time and date settings each time you start the console, then it is highly likely that the capacitor responsible for storing this setting has failed.

This Eaton branded 2.5V 1.0F supercapacitor is compatible with Xbox Original only, and is ideal for repairing motherboard versions 1 to 1.5, which contain a low quality clock capacitor from the Microsoft factory. 

A reasonable level of soldering ability are required to install the replacement capacitor and remove the old one.

The console must be opened to install, a T10, T15 & T20 Torx screwdriver is required to open the console (Not included).

A soldering iron, solder & desoldering braid are required to fit capacitors (not included).
