These two thumb stick replacements will fit Sony PS3 wireless controllers, ideal for replacing warn or damaged thumb grips.

Replacing the thumb sticks requires you to open the controller, technical level low to medium. This will void any warranty and is done at owners risk. Please seek professional advice if unsure.

You will need a Philips #00 screwdriver to install (not included).

PS3 controller thumb grip replacement

To replace worn and damaged thumbsticks the PS3 controller needs to be disassembled. Open the controller by removing the 5 screws on the controller housing, take the controller back off, remove the motherboard screw. Once you have access to the two thumbsticks simply pull them off of the analog sticks. Push the new thumbsticks into place, re-assemble the controller and voila!
